Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and skilled PHP Web Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in PHP and a good working knowledge of modern CMS and e-commerce platforms like WordPress, OpenCart, and Shopify. A background in MVC frameworks and full-stack development is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and support PHP-based web applications

Work on CMS/eCommerce based platforms such as WordPress, OpenCart, and Shopify

Implement custom themes, plugins, and API integrations

Collaborate with UI/UX designers and frontend developers to deliver seamless user experiences

Optimize application performance, security, and scalability

Debug and troubleshoot existing code and handle bug fixes

Manage version control using Git

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in Core PHP and OOPs concepts

Hands-on experience with WordPress (custom themes, plugins), OpenCart, and Shopify

Working knowledge of MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

Familiarity with REST APIs and 3rd-party API integrations

Good debugging and problem-solving skills

Experience with MVC frameworks (e.g., CodeIgniter, Laravel preferred)

Preferred Skills

Experience with Git, cPanel, WHM, hosting environments

Knowledge of SEO basics and web performance optimization

Exposure to eCommerce platforms and payment gateway integrations

Familiarity with responsive and cross-browser design principles

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

1–3 years of professional experience in web development

Strong portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing past projects is a plus
