Position: Piping QA/QC Engineer

Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma (Mechanical preferred)

Experience: 3-5 Years in Piping QA/QC

Location: Panipat – P25 Project (IOCL)

Role Summary:

The Piping QA/QC Engineer will ensure that all piping activities at the P25 Project comply with IOCL quality standards, project specifications, and approved procedures. The role includes inspection, documentation, testing coordination, and client interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspection of piping materials, fabrication, fit-up, and welding works.
• Review and verify WPS, PQR & Welder Qualification records.
• Perform and monitor Hydrotest, Pneumatic Test, line checking & test package verification.
• Coordinate NDT activities (RT, UT, MPI, DPI) and validate reports.
• Read and interpret Isometric Drawings, P&ID, GA Drawings for inspection planning.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance as per IOCL standards & project procedures.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, reports, and inspection records.
• Raise NCRs, RFIs and coordinate with Client/Consultant for approvals.
• Monitor welding processes and ensure compliance with applicable codes & standards.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of ASME / API codes
• Strong understanding of welding processes & materials
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Excellent documentation & communication skills
• Familiarity with ITP, WPS, PQT, Test Packs, RFI, NCR, etc.
