Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SQL Developer to join our team on a full-time basis in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database development, optimization, and management. This role is crucial in supporting our IT solutions through robust and efficient data handling, reporting, and integration processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views
• Optimize existing queries for performance and reliability
• Work closely with internal teams to understand data requirements and deliver efficient database solutions
• Develop and maintain documentation of database structures, processes, and protocols
• Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolutions
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across systems
• Assist in database migrations, upgrades, and versioning
• Generate regular reports and insights from data to support decision-making

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in SQL development and database management
• Proficiency in SQL (T-SQL/PL-SQL) and relational database systems (e.g., MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with database design, normalization, and indexing techniques
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
• Familiarity with reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar (preferred)
• Basic understanding of APIs and how they interact with databases
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Bonus: Knowledge of cloud-based databases (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL)
