Job Summary
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- 4–4.5 years of QA experience, with a solid mix of manual testing and test automation.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle management.
- Good knowledge of test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Experience contributing to or establishing QA best practices and governance frameworks.
- Basic knowledge of API testing and SQL is a plus.
- Analyze requirements, create detailed test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and system testing manually.
- Log, track, and verify defects using tools like JIRA or similar.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and debug failed test cases, ensuring robust automation coverage.
- Continuously improve and optimize test automation frameworks.
- Define and implement QA processes, best practices, and standards.
- Ensure compliance with test governance policies and guidelines.
- Maintain traceability of test cases to requirements and ensure proper documentation.
- Review test cases, test results, and test coverage with the team to ensure high quality deliverables.
- Provide regular reports and metrics on test progress, quality KPIs, and defect trends.
- Support audits and ensure process adherence.
- Experience with other automation tools like Selenium or Cypress.
