Job Description:

• The Go-To PLM expert for users to pose questions to concerning Item creation/revision, workflows, business processes and corporate procedures.
• Perform Level II system support, resolving tickets once PLM support helpdesk has triaged an incident or request.
• Escalate tickets to PLM Level III support
• Offload Incidents and document tasks that can be handled by Level I IT Support Center or PLM support helpdesk
• IT Service Management Single Point of Contact for APAC, EU and NA.
• Strong focus on improving ticket resolution times and improving ITSM processes for PLM.
• Coordination with all related IT groups regarding the global use of PLM system changes.
• Participate in the execution of Next Generation PLM project, including leading the test management during the development phase as well as supporting the go live phase.
• Close collaboration with business Key Users and Subject Matter Experts.
• Assist in develop the Business Case for all project recommendations.
• Key contact person for providing training for new users or system changes. Includes development or updates of training materials.
• Gathering monthly Metrics of PLM use / issue.
• Converts Incidents and Requests into Requirements (CB Tasks)
• Other tasks / assignments as required.

Skills:

• PLM/PDM tools, project management, product master data, specifications management and operations
• Knowledge of the product development process, material specification data and product BOM structures
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing to both technical teams and business functions across multiple levels.
• Self-motivator and strong drive for achievement.
• Ability to multi-task and work towards multiple deadlines with shifting priorities.

Preferred Qualification: BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech
