Pre Sales Business Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Pre-Sales Business Analyst with over 2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between the sales team and technical/product teams by gathering requirements, creating solution proposals, and delivering compelling product presentations to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs, pain points, and business goals.
• Translate client requirements into functional and technical solutions with the help of product and technical teams.
• Prepare and deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations tailored to client needs.
• Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), proposals, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Conduct market and competitor research to support solution development and positioning.
• Support client discovery sessions, workshops, and pre-sales meetings.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing) for customized solutions.
• Work closely with post-sales teams to ensure smooth transition and client satisfaction.
• Analyze trends from client interactions to provide feedback for product improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a pre-sales, business analysis, or customer-facing technical role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and technical solutioning.
• Proficiency in tools like MS Office, PowerPoint, Visio, and CRM platforms.
• Experience with preparing documentation like SOWs, BRDs, and solution briefs.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to SaaS or IT service/consulting environments.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and wireframing tools.
