Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance backend services using Java (18/21) and Spring Boot.
- Build scalable and distributed data pipelines using Apache Spark.
- Develop and maintain microservices-based architectures.
- Work on cloud-native deployments, preferably on AWS (EC2, S3, EMR, Lambda, etc.
- Optimize data processing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and non-production environments.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
- Strong programming expertise in Core Java (18/21).
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and distributed data processing.
- Proven experience with Spring Boot and RESTful API development.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and patterns.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms, especially AWS (preferred).
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and data lake/storage systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes is a plus).
