Role Overview

We are seeking a Principal Application Developer- with a strong background in Oracle technologies and hands-on experience in- Zuora (Subscription Billing). This is a- lead-level role- requiring a proactive, technically strong individual who can drive enhancements, lead a team, and contribute to strategic initiatives in revenue accounting and SaaS billing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development and enhancement efforts in Oracle EBS and Zuora-based systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions.
• Perform code reviews, provide technical guidance, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver high-quality code.
• Drive DevOps and Agile practices within the team.
• Prepare technical documentation and present system flows or solutions in project meetings.
  
  

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 12-18 years of experience in Oracle development.
• 2+ years of hands on experience with Zuora (Subscription Billing).
• Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and complex database programming.
• Solid understanding of Revenue Recognition (ASC 606) and RevPro.
• Experience with- REST/SOAP API development.
• Proven leadership in managing and mentoring development teams.
• Familiarity with tools like Oracle Workflow, XML Publisher, EB Tax, and Sales Tax Skills :
• Experience with- Python, Java, AI/ML tools.
• Knowledge of Oracle Forms/Reports 10g.
• Exposure to CPQ, SaaS-based order/quote management, and R12 framework.
• Understanding of DevOps- and Agile methodologies.
