In this role, we are looking for an expert Java Developer.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for design, development, testing (unit), implementation and maintenance of software solutions with a focus on quality and DevOps principles.
- You will be new serverless based solutions, microservice architecture, and expanding brand new applications in the Cloud, while supporting solutions that you build in production.
- Provide maintenance and enhancements to the existing code base.
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of our platform design and tool chain.
- Support our test team to build automated testing and delivery.
- Rapid learning and willingness to work with technologies and languages you are or are not familiar with
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
- Strong technical background in Java & J2EE application. Java 11+ preferred.
- Good understanding of data structures and design patterns.
- Good understanding of web application architecture and knowledge in Servlet, JSP.
- Experience with Spring and Spring Boot 3+, RDBMS and SQL
- Good understanding and experience in REST/SOAP web services.
- Experience with SDLC tools (e.g. Bamboo, JIRA, GIT, Confluence).
- Understanding of microservices architecture, design, and integration patterns
- The ability to communicate problems and solutions effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud platform, AWS preferred.
- Knowledge of container-based technologies.
- Knowledge of Kafka is good to have.
- AWS certifications preferred.
