Overview
We are seeking a strategic, results-driven, and operationally strong Senior Manager for Enterprise Data Platforms (Offshore – India) to provide direct frontline management of offshore teams across Architecture, Data Governance & Data Quality, Engineering, BI Development, Data Science, QA, and Production Support.
This role will directly manage the offshore teams, ensuring high-quality execution while maintaining dotted-line alignment with global functional leaders in their respective disciplines. The Senior Manager will be responsible for performance management, resource planning, engineering execution, Agile delivery and team development, ensuring offshore teams contribute effectively to enterprise data initiatives.
As part of a matrixed leadership structure, this role will work closely with global data and technology executives to balance on-the-ground execution with strategic alignment across functions.

What We're Looking For
- 12+ years overall experience with 4+ years managing offshore data engineering, architecture, or analytics teams in a matrixed environment.
- Strong people management, execution oversight, and performance accountability.
- Ability to balance direct leadership with dotted-line functional reporting.
- Expertise in modern data architecture, scalable pipelines, and cloud platforms (e.g., Snowflake, GCP/Azure, Airflow, dbt, Talend).
- Experience optimizing data infrastructure, automation, and performance tuning.
- Understanding of data governance, metadata, and data quality frameworks.
- Accountable for delivery execution in Agile environments, working with Scrum Masters & Product Owners.
- Ability to remove roadblocks, optimize team efficiency, and drive execution cadence.
- Experience managing platform operations, production support, and incident resolution.
- Strong understanding of SLAs, monitoring, and disaster recovery coordination.
- Proven ability to engage with global data, technology, and business leaders.
- Strong communication and executive reporting skills, ensuring transparency in delivery.
