Job Summary:
Senior Network Engineer - The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex network environments. This role demands deep expertise in Routing & Switching, Wireless Networking, SD-WAN, Cisco Catalyst platforms, FortiGate Firewalls, DMVPN.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain Enterprise Office Network infrastructure across multiple sites.
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Catalyst and Juniper EX platforms routing and switching platforms.
- Design, Implement and Manage / optimize wireless networks, including Cisco WLCs and APs.
- Implement and manage SD-WAN solutions.
- Administer and secure FortiGate / Juniper SRX Firewalls including policy creation, VPN setup, and threat management.
- Design and support DMVPN topologies and S2S VPN for secure site-to-site connectivity.
- Perform network performance tuning, capacity planning, and proactive monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business continuity and disaster recovery.
- Document network designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Participate in oncall rotation and provide Tier 3 support for escalated issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise networking.
- Expert-level knowledge of Routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) and Switching technologies (STP, VLANs, EtherChannel).
- Strong experience with Cisco Catalyst and Juniper networking platforms.
- Understanding of Zscaler solutions (ZPA / ZIA)
- Good understanding of DNS/DHCP/IPAM.
- Hands-on experience with FortiGate Firewalls and Juniper SRX Firewalls.
- Proven expertise in DMVPN configuration and troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of WAN architecture and technologies.
- Solid understanding of SD-WAN architectures and deployment strategies.
- Experience with Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs) and Access Points.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and Telemetry (SNMP, NetFlow etc).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
