Principal Software Engineer – Platform & Architecture

We are hiring for a Principal Software Engineer to play a critical role in shaping the architecture and technical direction of a globally scaled enterprise platform.

This role goes beyond execution — it is about defining long-term engineering strategy, solving complex system challenges, and enabling platform evolution at scale.

🔍 Key Areas of Ownership

• Own and drive the architectural vision for a large-scale, distributed platform

• Build foundational platform components, internal tools while partnering up with cross functional teams

• Champion adoption of modern engineering paradigms, including AI-driven capabilities

• Contribute to core platform libraries and high-impact technical initiatives

• Lead deep technical investigations into critical production issues and drive long-term fixes

• Review and guide complex system design decisions across teams

• Mentor senior engineers and influence engineering culture and standards

🧠What Defines Success in This Role

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering with strong system design expertise for large scale systems

• Strong programming background in Java or any object oriented language

• Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS preferred)

• Experience on containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Solid understanding of CI/CD and automation practices

• Experience working with high-scale data systems (SQL, NoSQL, or emerging data stores like vector DBs)

• Familiarity with AI/ML systems or data-driven platform capabilities

• Understanding of security, compliance, and enterprise-grade system requirements
