Overview

Procurement Manager

We are looking for a seasoned Sourcing / Procurement Manager to lead the procurement of electronic and mechanical components critical to our railway projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with both domestic and international suppliers and a deep understanding of component sourcing for high-reliability applications in the transportation sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement activities for electronic and mechanical components used in Railway TCMS, control systems, and embedded hardware.
  • Manage vendor identification, qualification, and onboarding — especially international OEMs and component manufacturers.
  • Develop and negotiate contracts and supply agreements ensuring competitive pricing, lead times, and quality compliance.
  • Coordinate with engineering and project teams to understand technical requirements and sourcing specifications.
  • Track and manage inventory levels, delivery schedules, and cost targets.
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships and ensure timely resolution of supply issues or deviations.
  • Stay updated with market trends, component obsolescence, and new supplier opportunities.
  • Drive cost optimization without compromising quality or delivery schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable railway standards and certifications in procurement processes.

Key Requirements

  • B.E. Industrial Engineering / Supply Chain OR related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sourcing and procurement, preferably in railway or transportation electronics.
  • Proven experience in international procurement – working with suppliers in Europe, China, Taiwan, or the US.
  • Strong technical understanding of electronic components, connectors, mechanical enclosures, and industrial hardware.
  • Familiarity with railway-specific standards and components (e.g., EN50155, SIL-rated devices) is a strong plus.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and procurement tools.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
