Overview
Primary Purpose of Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager / Scrum Master with a strong background in managing IT Infrastructure and IT Security projects.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully overseeing complex projects, fostering a collaborative team environment, and leading agile processes. You will be responsible for managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget while working with global vendors and internal teams. This role requires a blend of project management expertise and Scrum Master experience, with a keen focus on driving project success through agile methodologies, stakeholder communication, and team coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead and manage IT infrastructure and IT security projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, define milestones, allocate resources, and track progress throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and global vendors to define project requirements, risks, and deliverables.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Scrum Master Responsibilities:
- Serve as Scrum Master for multiple Agile teams, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Ensure adherence to Scrum processes, removing obstacles, and empowering teams to achieve their goals.
- Promote continuous improvement and agile best practices, fostering collaboration and communication within the team.
- Support product owners in maintaining the product backlog and ensuring work is prioritized according to business needs.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
- Coordinate with global vendors to ensure project deliverables are met and services are provided according to the agreed timelines and standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendor-related communications, managing expectations, and resolving any issues.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring all parties are aligned and informed of project progress and changes.
Team Collaboration:
- Work with geographically distributed teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across different time zones.
- Resolve any team-related blockers and facilitate smooth project execution through strong interpersonal skills.
- Foster a positive, high-performance team environment, guiding team members toward achieving both project and personal goals.
Key Performance Measures:
- Project Delivery on Time and Within Budget: Successful management and delivery of IT infrastructure and IT security projects on time and within the allocated budget, meeting defined scope and quality standards.
- Sprint Success Rate: Ensuring that Agile teams consistently meet sprint goals, with a high percentage of committed tasks completed by the end of each sprint (80%+).
- Vendor & Stakeholder Satisfaction: Positive feedback from global vendors and internal stakeholders on project collaboration, communication, and results, measured through surveys and regular check-ins.
- Team Collaboration & Engagement: High levels of team satisfaction, engagement, and productivity, measured through internal team surveys, participation in Agile ceremonies, and overall project outcomes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas: Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing IT Infrastructure and IT Security projects.
- Experience in both project management and Scrum Master roles.
- Experience working with global, remote teams and vendors.
- In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and project management best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow).
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure concepts and IT security protocols and best practices.
- Knowledge of risk management, change management, and incident management in IT projects.
Scope Factors:
- Accountable for the delivery of assigned tasks related to project delivery, vendor management, HW/SW procurement
- Frequent interaction with direct leadership, cross functional team members, business stake holders and peers
- Interacts with peers, managers and Directors within broader function or across functions
Travel or Physical Demands:
- Less than 5% travel required.
- Resource needs to preferably be working until 1:00 P.M EST
