We are seeking a highly skilled Python API Developer with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in developing and integrating APIs using Python. The ideal candidate should be proficient in backend development, capable of working independently on projects, and possess strong expertise in Azure, AWS, and cloud-based architectures. The role requires deep technical understanding, problem-solving skills, and the ability to build scalable and secure backend services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Python frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django REST Framework.
• Design, build, and maintain backend services ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Work with cloud platforms (Azure & AWS) to deploy and manage APIs, serverless functions, and microservices.
• Develop efficient database queries and schema design using SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
• Optimize API performance, ensuring low-latency and high-availability services.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices for APIs (OAuth, JWT, API Gateway).
• Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and cross-functional teams to integrate solutions.
• Write unit tests, conduct debugging, and optimize code for maximum efficiency.
• Document API specifications using OpenAPI/Swagger and ensure seamless third-party integrations.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in developing and integrating APIs using Python.
• Strong knowledge of Python frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django REST Framework.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms – Azure (Azure Functions, API Management, App Services) and AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, DynamoDB).
• Experience in backend development, including designing microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Expertise in databases (SQL & NoSQL) – PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB.
• Strong understanding of RESTful & GraphQL APIs with hands-on experience in API documentation (Swagger, OpenAPI).
• Knowledge of authentication & security standards (OAuth, JWT, API Key management).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Serverless Architectures on Azure/AWS.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Event Grid.
• Familiarity with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with asynchronous task management (Celery, Redis, Task Queues).
• Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
