Python Backend Developer
Experience: 7+ Years
Location: Ahmedabad (On-site)
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Python Backend Developer with a strong foundation in building
scalable, cloud-native microservices and business logic-driven systems. You will play a key role
in delivering backend solutions on AWS, leveraging modern development tools and practices to
build robust, enterprise-grade services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Python.
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of backend systems on AWS Cloud.
- Modernize and migrate legacy systems to cloud-native architectures.
- Integrate with relational databases (Postgres RDS, Oracle) and graph databases.
- Collaborate with tech leads and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable backend solutions.
- Conduct unit, integration, and functional testing to ensure high reliability and performance.
- Follow SDLC best practices, and deploy code using CI/CD automation pipelines.
- Use orchestration tools like Apache Airflow to streamline backend workflows.
- Ensure solutions meet security, performance, and scalability standards.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in backend and cloud development.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of backend development experience with a strong focus on Python.
- Proficient in Python for service development and data integration tasks.
- Additional experience with Java, PL/SQL, and Bash scripting is a plus.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, API Gateway, Kinesis.
- Expertise in PostgreSQL or Oracle, including stored procedures and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and serverless computing.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch or other search platforms.
- Practical experience with CI/CD tools: GitLab, GitHub, AWS CodePipeline.
- Experience with Terraform, Docker, and cloud infrastructure setup and management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to ETL pipeline development and data-driven backend systems.
- Understanding of Kubernetes, networking, and cloud security principles.
