We are seeking a skilled and experienced Python Backend Developer to join our team The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development and a proven track record of building robust APIs using FastAPI other Frameworks As a Python Backend Developer you will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define requirements and optimize application performance
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI other Frameworks
- Utilize extensive handson experience with AWS services including ECS and OpenSearch to enhance backend infrastructure
- Design and implement integration solutions with thirdparty services and internal systems
- Optimize backend components for maximum performance and scalability
- Collaborate with product managers designers and other developers to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction and architecture
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Stay uptodate with emerging backend technologies and best practices
- Strong proficiency in Python programming language
- Thorough understanding of FastAPI and its core principles
- Experience with AWS services particularly ECS and OpenSearch
- Proven experience in building and integrating APIs
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders product owners designers and platform teams
