Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize backend components using Python 3.12+
• Design and implement high-performance, concurrent systems
• Work on memory- and CPU-efficient algorithms for text processing and data pipelines
• Interface Python with C/C++ or Rust modules to achieve system-level performance
• Conduct performance profiling, debugging, and tuning
• Collaborate with machine learning and infrastructure teams for deep tech integrations

Core Requirements:

• Strong command of Python 3.12+, including async features and typing
• Expert in at least one systems programming language: C/C++ or Rust
• Solid understanding of concurrency models, parallel processing, and threading
• Experience with performance profiling tools (e.g., cProfile, Valgrind, perf)
• Deep understanding of memory management, I/O bottlenecks, and CPU/GPU usage
• Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and deployment pipelines

Bonus Points for:

• Experience building and optimizing compilers, interpreters, or virtual machines
• Hands-on knowledge of NLP pipelines, large-scale text processing, or data streaming
• Contributions to open-source Python/C/C++/Rust projects
• Exposure to distributed systems or parallel computing frameworks

Preferred Background:

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or related fields from IITs/NITs
• Internship or project experience in systems-level or performance-critical environments
• Strong CS fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, operating systems
