Python Developer

Overview

Navtech is looking for an innovative and detail-oriented Python Developer who enjoys solving complex problems, working with modern technologies, and collaborating within a fast-paced startup environment.

What You’ll Do as a Python Developer at Navtech:

• Write clean, reusable, testable, and efficient code; debug and troubleshoot applications.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle—concept, design, development, deployment, testing, and release.
• Develop backend components to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Work with various data storage solutions (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Collaborate with product teams on new features, prototypes, and effort estimations.
• Drive best practices in code quality, architecture, and development processes.
• Implement security, data protection, and performance optimization solutions.
• Prepare and maintain clear technical documentation.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years of experience as a Python Developer with hands-on exposure to frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Strong understanding of ORMs and ability to work with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience integrating multiple data sources into unified systems
• Familiarity with related technologies: JavaScript, APIs, HTML, Apache/Nginx, PHP (optional).
• Proficient with version control tools like Git or SVN.
• Exposure to NoSQL systems such as Redis, Cassandra, etc.
• Experience working in cloud environments (AWS or Azure preferred).
• Strong logical reasoning, analytical skills, communication skills, and experience interacting with clients.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field (English-medium education preferred).
