Python developer

Overview

We are looking for a Backend Developer to be a part of the OneFin engineering team and help us build functional systems and deliver customized software solutions for clients.

Responsibilities

1. Design and implement backend infrastructure and APIs.
2. Write high-quality, robust, readable, and scalable code.
3. Demonstrate the ability to dive deep and thrive in ambiguous situations.
4. Promote and support knowledge sharing within teams and external groups.
5. Troubleshoot and debug applications.
6. Adopt problem-solving as a core approach, always aiming for the root cause.
7. Collaborate with the team to discuss and implement innovative ideas.
8. Build responsive, robust, and optimized applications.

Requirements and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum 1 year of experience as a python developer or similar role, preferably in bfsi, fintech organization.
3. Proficiency in Python, with a solid understanding of Django, Celery, and Redis.
4. Strong understanding of backend best practices and architecture.
5. Experience in designing extensible DRY code.
6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical ideas clearly.
7. Experience with AWS or other cloud services.
