Python Developer

Overview

We are currently seeking a Python Developer focused on desktop software development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust and scalable desktop applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the efficiency and reliability of the software.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain high-quality desktop software using Python.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software issues.

* Design and implement database solutions for desktop applications.

* Ensure the scalability and efficiency of Python applications.

* Strong knowledge in API integration.

Qualifications

* Strong experience in desktop software development for Mac, Windows and Linux.

* Proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming (OOP).

* Experience with Python frameworks suitable for desktop application development.

* Knowledge of database design and management systems such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.

* Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Position Type

This is a contract-based role open to experienced Python developers specialising in desktop software development, who are ready to contribute to the advancement of our innovative educational technology solutions.
