The Opportunity

UST is looking for 01 Semiconductor S/W Product Development Engineer

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop robust and scalable software solutions using Python and OOPs
• Work on low-level system interactions such as process management, file systems, networking, and OS integration.
• Debug, analyze, and optimize system performance issues.
• Propose and implement improvements in architecture, process, and development practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with DevOps, QA, and hardware teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Take ownership of modules or features from concept through deployment and maintenance.
• Write clean, maintainable code and produce thorough documentation.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Python with experience in writing system-level scripts/tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex technical issues.
• Solid understanding of operating systems, processes, memory management, and networking.
• Demonstrated initiative in identifying gaps, proposing solutions, and driving implementation.
• Experience with tools like psutil, subprocess, threading, or asyncio is a plus.
• Familiarity with Linux-based environments.
• Experience in automation, monitoring, or infrastructure tools.
• Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker.
• Prior work in a DevOps, SRE, or hardware/software integration role.
  
  

Qualification

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant industry experience.
