About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer with strong expertise in FastAPI to join our team and contribute to an exciting Reinforcement Learning (RL) Gym project. You will design, build, and optimize scalable APIs, work closely with ML engineers and researchers, and deliver high-quality backend services that power reinforcement learning experiments and simulations.

Prior experience with RL Gym is not mandatory but will be considered a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain FastAPI-based services for experimentation workflows and simulation environments.

Collaborate with ML engineers to expose APIs for training, evaluation, and benchmarking.

Write efficient, production-grade Python code with a strong emphasis on scalability and maintainability.

Troubleshoot performance issues, optimize pipelines, and ensure smooth deployment of applications.

Implement and maintain best practices in software engineering, including testing, CI/CD, and version control.

Requirements

3+ years of professional Python development experience.

Strong expertise in FastAPI (experience in Flask/Django acceptable, but FastAPI proficiency is required).

Solid knowledge of REST APIs, async programming, and API lifecycle management.

Strong foundation in software engineering principles (testing, CI/CD, design patterns, version control).

Familiarity with NumPy, Pandas, and PyTorch/TensorFlow is a plus.

Exposure to Reinforcement Learning environments (OpenAI Gym, Gymnasium, Stable Baselines, or custom environments) is desirable.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
