Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend Developer to join our engineering team.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in modern Python development practices, API design, and database management. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and robust backend services.

Requirements

Must have 4 to 5 years of exp.

Must Have Skills: Python, Flask, FastAPI, DJango, SQL, SQLAlchemy, Alembic (schema versioning), Pytest, UV tooling (Python package management)

Job responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code.
• Implement and manage APIs using frameworks such as Flask and FastAPI (with occasional work in Django).
• Manage database schemas and migrations using SQL, SQLAlchemy, and Alembic.
• Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, primarily using Pytest.
• Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Utilize UV for efficient Python package management and dependency resolution.
