Overview
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Python Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, building, and maintaining scalable Python-based applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, data scientists, DevOps, and product managers to develop and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable Python applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Lead technical architecture decisions and guide junior developers.
- Collaborate with product teams to define software requirements and specifications.
- Integrate third-party APIs and libraries where needed.
- Implement security and data protection protocols.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Mentor and train junior developers as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest Python tools and technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Python development.
- Strong knowledge of at least one Python framework (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI).
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Proficiency in RESTful API development and integration.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Good understanding of DevOps tools and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in asynchronous programming (e.g., asyncio, Celery).
- Exposure to front-end technologies (React, Vue.js) is a bonus.
- Knowledge of machine learning, data analysis, or data engineering pipelines.
- Prior experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
