QA Analyst

Job description

• Test Planning and Design:
• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design test coverage plans.
• Test Execution:
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Collaboration:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, etc.) to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
• Automation:
• Develop and execute automated tests to streamline the testing process.
• Maintain and improve existing automation frameworks.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Continuously improve testing methodologies and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to software testing and quality assurance.
• Documentation:
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all QA processes and results.
• Provide clear and concise reports on testing activities, results, and any issues identified.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing.
• Familiarity with various testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, LoadRunner).
• Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Additional Requirements:

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of SQL and scripting.
• Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
