What are we looking for?

We are looking for a QA Analyst with experience in the manual process of e-Commerce websites. As a QA Analyst, you will come in and transform testing into continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering functions. You will build, design, test, implement and maintain the various applications with consistently high levels of client satisfaction. Additional responsibilities include collecting, reviewing, and understanding business requirements.

We are looking for someone who is professional, reliable, and pays attention to detail. Most importantly, we seek a team player with the ability to accomplish results and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Day To Day Responsibilities

• Perform various testing types and techniques
• Develop and document test cases based on business requirements, technical requirements, user stories, and business use cases
• Use test management applications/tools, such as Selenium
• Identify, document and track defects
• Work with database queries, parse data
• Provide test status updates and defect report
• Collaborate with cross functional teams
• Provide QA support for scheduled deployments/releases
  
  

Ideal Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a QA Analyst with a focus on Manual and/or Automation testing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong attention to detail with a critical and analytical mindset
• Up-to-date knowledge of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and best practices
• Well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Practical experience working in Agile and Scrum environments
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the QA role in each phase
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and ADA testing (e.g., WCAG compliance)
• Experience with test case optimisation techniques and risk-based testing approaches
  
  

Preferred Skills & Technologies

• Strong manual testing experience with web-based eCommerce applications
• Excellent documentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate test plans and results
• Ability to convert business requirements into functional, regression, and visual test cases
• Proficient in executing test cases at both integration and system levels
• Hands-on experience with cross-browser and responsive testing
• Skilled in analysing test results and logging detailed, reproducible defects or bugs
• Ability to generate clear and concise daily/weekly QA status and defect reports
• Capable of working independently and taking ownership of QA deliverables
• Working knowledge of the Shopify platform or similar eCommerce platform
  
  

Good To Have:

• Familiarity with AI-assisted QA tools (e.g., ChatGPT) for test case generation and optimisation
• Familiarity using no-code or low-code automation platforms for test creation and execution

Physical Demands Requirements

Common office/desk environment that involves long periods of time at a stationary desk with extensive computer work that requires repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
