Job Title: QA Automation Test Engineer

Experience Required: 5 8 Years (Automation & Manual Testing)

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Test Engineer with a strong background in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automating test cases using C#, testing web applications and APIs, and working within an Agile/SCRUM environment. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate test cases into automation scripts using C# for GUI and API testing.
• Ensure adherence to defined coding standards and automation guidelines.
• Perform manual testing of web-based applications and web services in a client-server architecture.
• Debug web or server-related errors with a solid understanding of web-based systems.
• Independently execute functional, database, sanity, E2E integration, and regression testing.
• Conduct root cause analysis on automation failures and track defects effectively.
• Identify test cases for automation and contribute to automation planning.
• Setup test data and execute automated test cases.
• Collaborate with QA Managers/Leads and cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage.
• Review automation code, address issues from scheduled runs, and continuously improve test scripts.
• Follow the test strategy and test plans to maintain quality standards.
• Escalate blockers and SOP deviations promptly.
  
  
  

Technical Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge and experience in automation testing.
• Proficiency in C#.
• Experience testing web services and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with tools like Fiddler, SOAP UI, POSTMAN.
• Solid understanding of SQA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
• Proficient in SQL and test data mining.
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Protractor, or Playwright.
• Capable of building frameworks using Modular, BDD, or POM patterns.
• Working knowledge of TFS/MTM.
• Experience in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
• Understanding of defect management processes.
