QA Automation Tester

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, creating, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will work closely with the development and quality assurance teams to identify test scenarios, create test data, and design test scripts that address both business and technical use cases.

Responsibilities:

• Design and create test conditions, test data, and test scripts to address business and technical use cases.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of test automation frameworks and utilize existing tools and techniques to execute test cases effectively.
• Build and script new tools as needed to enhance the testing and validation function.
• Develop and lead the automation strategy and effort, leveraging Selenium and Appium, to perform automated testing cycles.
• Design, execute, and analyze automation test scripts and test results for web applications, iOS, and Android platforms.
• Possess good development and scripting skills in web-driver compatible languages such as Java, Objective-C, JavaScript with Node.js, PHP, Python, Ruby, C#, or Perl, using the Selenium WebDriver API and language-specific client libraries.
• Have a solid experience working with different mobile operating systems, including iOS and Android.
• Demonstrate expertise and practical knowledge of automated testing tools, particularly Selenium and Appium.
• Familiarity and experience with JIRA, Robotium, and Selendroid tools is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing automated test scripts using Selenium and Appium.
• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and best practices.
• Proficient in web-driver compatible languages such as Java, Objective-C, JavaScript with Node.js, PHP, Python, Ruby, C#, or Perl.
• Solid experience in testing web applications, iOS, and Android platforms.
• Familiarity with different mobile operating systems, including iOS and Android.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to testing.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
