QA Automation Tester (225-730)

Job Description

As a QA Automation Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products. You will be responsible for designing and developing automated test scripts, executing test plans, and analyzing the results to ensure our software applications meet the highest standards. Your work will involve close collaboration with developers, project managers, and other QA testers to identify testing needs and improve the QA processes. You will use a variety of testing methods and tools to detect and troubleshoot issues early in the development cycle. This role requires a proactive approach to quality assurance, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts to verify software functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with developers and QA team to understand testing requirements and improve processes.
• Execute automated test cases and analyze the results to ensure accurate software performance.
• Maintain and update the test automation framework and related testing tools.
• Document defects and work with the development team to resolve software issues promptly.
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
• Identify areas for test automation and optimize testing strategies for efficiency.
• Ensure all testing activities align with industry standards and company policies.
• Review automated test scripts regularly to ensure consistency and remove redundancies.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality assurance standards.
• Continuously explore new automation tools and technologies to improve testing efficacy.
• Liaise with stakeholders to report test results and software quality insights effectively.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Proven experience in automation testing and familiarity with automation tools like Selenium.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# is essential.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, or similar is necessary.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail are required for success.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively within a team environment.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments is highly advantageous.
