QA Automation Tester with Java, Selenium, React

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Specialist to join our team supporting one of our key projects. The role combines strong test automation expertise with hands-on React development skills. The ideal candidate has proven experience in designing and executing test scenarios, a solid understanding of software architecture, and the flexibility to contribute to frontend development when required.

Immediate joiners who can work onsite from Bengaluru are preferred.

Your tasks

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber (BDD)
• Creating and executing detailed test scenarios and test cases to ensure software quality
• Collaborating with architects and developers to ensure system design supports testability
• Contributing to React-based frontend development tasks, including component creation, bug fixes, and UI optimization
• Working with cross-functional teams to identify, report, and resolve defects
• Participating in code reviews, CI/CD pipeline improvements, and QA best practices

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, and Cucumber
• Proven ability to design test automation frameworks and test scenarios
• Good understanding of software and system architecture
• Practical experience in React frontend development (JSX, components, hooks, state management)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with attention to detail
