Position Overview:
We are seeking a Mid-Level Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer – Manual Testing to support the quality and integrity of data-driven applications. This role focuses on ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of Microsoft SQL Server databases and works closely with cross-functional teams to support Agile development and data reporting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support Microsoft SQL Server-based Generate Databases.
• Ensure database security, reliability, and performance tuning.
• Implement backup strategies and disaster recovery protocols.
• Coordinate database updates, patches, and version controls with IT teams.
• Prepare and validate data for federal EDFacts reporting.
• Develop and document robust business rules for data processing.
• Ensure compliance with Common Education Data Standards (CEDS).
• Collaborate with state program sponsors and stakeholders to define data requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including stored procedures, workflows, and reports.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required Skill Set:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and experience with stored procedures.
• Hands-on experience in manual testing with a focus on data accuracy and validation.
• Proficient in Active Directory-based database security and compliance.
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
• Experience in backup, disaster recovery, and performance tuning of SQL databases.

Experience:

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in writing and optimizing SQL Server queries.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in SQL Server database administration.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Rotational shift

Work Location: On the road
