Role: QA Engineer
Design, develop, and execute test cases and test plans (manual & automated) based on product requirements
Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other QA team members to ensure timely delivery
Perform regression, functional, integration, and performance testing
Maintain and improve automation scripts and frameworks
Conduct root cause analysis of defects and recommend product improvements
Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices
Requirements
Skills and Experience:
Mandatory Skills:
2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in software QA (manual and automation)
Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Experience with automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar
Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI
Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
Knowledge of performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
Exposure to version control tools such as Git
