Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer with 5 years of experience in both manual and automation testing, well-versed in object-oriented programming principles. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of OOPS, SOLID, and KISS principles, along with hands-on experience in automated testing using Selenium with JavaScript, and performance testing using tools like JMeter, K6, or REST-assured.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with JavaScript.
- Perform thorough manual testing of mobile applications (Web, Native, and Hybrid) and web platforms across browsers and devices.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and UX teams to understand requirements and identify test cases.
- Apply OOPS concepts and design principles (SOLID, KISS) in test automation frameworks and design.
- Conduct performance and load testing using tools like JMeter, K6, or similar, and analyse results to identify bottlenecks.
- Execute regression, smoke, functional, and exploratory testing across releases.
- Maintain and enhance the QA process through best practices and standards.
Required Skills:
- 5 years of experience in software testing (manual + automation).
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Proficiency in SOLID and KISS principles applied in QA automation.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium using JavaScript.
- Experience in testing mobile apps (native, hybrid, and responsive web).
- Working knowledge of web browser compatibility testing.
- Good understanding and experience in performance and load testing using JMeter, K6, or REST-assured.
- Familiarity with Jira for issue tracking and test case management.
- Proficient in GitHub: pushing/pulling code, branching, and creating basic workflows.
