QA Engineer

About the job:

Key responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks
2. Build and execute automated test suites for web, mobile, and API platforms
3. Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and DevOps to ensure product quality
4. Identify bugs early in the development cycle and provide detailed reports with reproducible steps
5. Monitor and analyze test results, debug failures, and work with the team to resolve issues
6. Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies
7. Drive shift-left testing practices and contribute to CI/CD pipelines

Skills required:

Java, JavaScript, Python, Selenium, SQL, REST API, Jira and Agile Methodology

Other Requirements:

0-2 years of hands-on experience in automation testing

Strong knowledge of Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar tools

Proficient in at least one programming language: Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.

Good understanding of REST APIs, SQL, and performance testing basics

Experience in working in Tier 1 product companies or high-scale B2C/E-commerce environments

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think critically and debug complex issues

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, JIRA)

Good to have:

Experience with mobile automation testing (Android/iOS)

Knowledge of security and performance testing frameworks

Understanding of microservices architecture and testing challenges
