We are seeking an exceptionally capable and driven QA Engineer. This role is not defined by years of experience, but by a proven aptitude for ensuring the high quality, reliability, and performance of complex software across frontend, backend, and critical AI integrations. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of test automation, a meticulous eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate directly with engineers to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Role

• Define and champion the quality standard and testing strategy for all product releases.
• Translate complex requirements into clear, comprehensive test plans and robust automated test suites.
• Collaborate directly with Engineering and AI teams to build specialized testing frameworks.
• Conduct continuous testing and reporting to ensure product integrity and performance.

Responsibilities

• Envision and Define: Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites for both backend services (API) and frontend components (UI/UX).
• Strategy & Roadmap: Create detailed test plans, comprehensive reports, and meticulously track issues to full resolution.
• Execution Leadership & Quality: Perform thorough manual testing for complex, end-to-end workflows and critical AI integrations. Actively participate in code reviews and integrate test automation directly into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Technical Acumen: Strong experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress for UI; JUnit, Postman for API). Proven knowledge of API testing (contract testing) and UI testing best practices.
• AI Collaboration: Collaborate directly with AI engineers to build and leverage AI-driven testing frameworks and generate intricate test scenarios.
• User Analysis and Optimization: Support specialized testing efforts, including performance, load, security, and usability testing.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Define key metrics for bug severity and quality gates, using data to inform release decisions.

Skills & Aptitude

• Exceptional Logical Thinking & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with an innate ability to quickly diagnose, isolate, and report complex issues.
• Core Technical Mastery: Proficiency in API testing, UI testing, and a scripting language (e.g., Python) for test utilities.
• Automation Focus: Experience specifically testing AI/ML applications, including evaluating model output quality and testing latency.
• Analytical Mindset: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and implementing continuous testing practices.
• Technical Acumen: Strong knowledge of automation tools and CI/CD integration.
• Communication & Influence: Superior ability to articulate quality risks and testing status clearly to cross-functional teams.

Preferred Background

• Evidence of having established or significantly improved an automated testing framework for a complex product.
• Experience with performance, security, and load testing.
• Demonstrated side projects showcasing self-taught skills in a relevant scripting language.
