Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. You will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our software products through manual and automated testing processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain test cases and test plans for software applications.
- Design, implement, and run automated test scripts to improve efficiency.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Collaborate with development, product, and design teams to understand requirements and identify quality risks.
- Perform regression, functional, integration, and performance testing.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
- Review and analyse system specifications to identify test requirements.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Monitor and report test progress, quality metrics, and results.
- Continuously improve testing methodologies and QA processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related role.
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques.
- Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, Appium, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman.
- Knowledge of programming languages (e. g., Java, Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Performance testing experience with tools like JMeter.
- Experience in mobile application testing (iOS and Android).
