Role Overview
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Test Engineer who takes full ownership of quality across releases. This role goes beyond execution — it requires strong test planning, reporting discipline, and proactive collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high product quality.

Working Days: 6 Days (Monday to Saturday)

Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Execution

• Create and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases aligned with sprint goals
• Analyze user stories, SRS, and requirements to ensure complete functional and non-functional coverage
• Perform manual testing (functional, regression, smoke) and contribute to automation suites (Selenium / API testing)
• Continuously expand and maintain test coverage for new and existing features

Test Case & Release Management

• Own and manage test cases for all staging deployments
• Validate feature releases, bug fixes, and improvements before production
• Ensure test readiness and coverage completeness for every sprint

Task Tracking & Collaboration

• Track and test bugs, features, and improvements using tools like JIRA
• Work closely with developers to triage, reproduce, and close defects efficiently
• Actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint ceremonies, and retrospectives

Reporting & Accountability

1. Maintain a daily handover report capturing:
2. Test execution summary
3. Failed test cases
4. Bugs reported and status
5. Track and report weekly QA KPIs, including:
6. Defect density
7. Test coverage
8. Critical bug leakage

Quality & Process Ownership

• Identify risks to product quality or timelines and proactively mitigate them
• Continuously improve QA processes, frameworks, and test efficiency
• Contribute to automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, Rest Assured) where applicable

What We’re Looking For

• 2–4 years of experience in Manual + Automation Testing
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
• Hands-on experience with: Selenium WebDriver (Java) API Testing (Postman / Rest Assured) JIRA, Maven, TestNG, Git
• Ability to design test cases, identify scenarios, and ensure coverage
• Strong ownership mindset with structured reporting discipline

Good to Have

• Experience with BDD / Cucumber frameworks
• Knowledge of SQL / database validation
• Exposure to data-driven testing frameworks
