Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong expertise in API Automation, Manual Testing (UI & API), and Database Testing. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing, robust automation frameworks, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute API automation test scripts using industry-standard tools.
- Perform comprehensive manual testing for both UI and APIs to validate functionality, usability, and performance.
- Conduct database testing by writing and executing SQL queries to verify data integrity, consistency, and transactional accuracy.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality goals.
- Identify, log, and track defects; ensure timely resolution through effective communication with the development team.
- Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks to support efficient and reliable test execution.
- Actively participate in test planning, risk assessments, and process improvement initiatives across the QA lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience in API Automation using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI, or similar.
- Solid understanding of manual testing methodologies for both UI and APIs.
- Proficient in database testing, including writing complex SQL queries and understanding relational database concepts.
- Strong experience in test case design, execution, and defect management.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into DevOps workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with UI automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Knowledge of scripting or programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Exposure to performance testing and security testing methodologies and tools.
