QA Engineer – Automation

Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated QA Engineer with strong automation expertise to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our products. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to build scalable test frameworks, automate regression suites, and drive quality as a core engineering discipline.

This role requires someone who thinks beyond manual testing - someone who can design automation strategies, improve release confidence, and embed quality early in the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation & Framework Development

• • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks
  • Build and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and backend systems
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Maintain regression and smoke test suites
    

• • Collaborate with Product and Engineering during requirement discussions
  • Create comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing
  • Identify, document, and track defects to closure
    

• • Participate in performance and load testing initiatives
  • Validate system stability and reliability before production releases
  • Support root cause analysis for production issues
    

• • Drive best practices for automation, code quality, and test coverage
  • Reduce manual testing efforts through smart automation
  • Improve release confidence and deployment velocity
    

• • 3–4 years of experience in QA with strong automation exposure
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as:
  • Selenium / Cypress / Playwright (Web)
  • RestAssured / Postman / API automation tools
  • Experience in programming languages like Java / Python / JavaScript
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with defect tracking tools (Jira, etc.)
    

• • Experience in performance testing (JMeter, k6, etc.)
  • Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker)
  • Experience working on SaaS or enterprise platforms
  • Exposure to AI-driven testing tools
