Aviato Consulting seeks an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our expert team. Working remotely during IST hours, you will take ownership of the test automation strategy and execution for a cutting-edge Flutter and Java-based mobile application used by a leading FSI client.

We are looking for a dedicated automation specialist to design, build, and maintain robust, scalable test frameworks, leveraging your expertise to ensure the highest quality for this critical application.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Designing & Building Frameworks: Architect, develop, and maintain robust, scalable automated test frameworks and scripts for our Flutter/Java mobile application (using Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or Flutter Driver).
• API Automation: Implement comprehensive automated tests for backend APIs.
• CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites into the CI/CD pipeline (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Test Environment Management: Set up, configure, and maintain mobile test environments (physical/virtual/cloud).
• Execution & Defect Management: Execute automated suites, analyze results, meticulously track defects (Jira/Azure DevOps), and verify fixes.
• Strategy & Planning: Develop automation test strategies and plans based on application requirements and risk analysis.
• Regression & Release: Own the automated regression testing process to ensure release quality.
• Mentorship (Optional): Potentially guide other team members on automation best practices.
• Exploratory Testing: Contribute to overall quality via targeted exploratory testing where appropriate.

What You Bring (Essential Skills & Experience):

• Proven Mobile Automation Expertise: Demonstrable experience designing, implementing, and maintaining mobile test automation frameworks (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or Flutter Driver).
• Strong Programming Skills: Proficiency in relevant languages for test automation (e.g., Java, Dart, Swift, Kotlin).
• API Testing Automation: Significant experience automating API tests (REST, SOAP) using relevant tools (e.g., Postman/Newman, RestAssured, Karate).
• CI/CD Integration Experience: Proven ability to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Skills That Will Make You Stand Out (Bonus Points):

• Specific experience automating Flutter applications using Flutter Driver.
• Experience working within the Financial Services Industry (FSI) or other regulated environments.
• Knowledge and experience with mobile performance and/or security testing.
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer).

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
