Position: QA Engineer

Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring product quality through functional and automation testing of Seqrite Enterprise Security solutions. The role involves designing test strategies, developing automation (API & UI using Python preferred), leveraging AI tools for efficient testing, and working with cloud platforms like AWS and OCI to validate scalable and reliable releases.

Provide advanced technical assistance to customers and partners for Seqrite Enterprise Security solutions, including configuration, deployment, feature clarification, upgrades, and issue resolution. Function as part of the Level 2 Technical Support team at the Technical Support Center (TSC), owning escalations, scheduled engagements, and on‑site support activities as required. Ensure a high‑quality customer experience through timely and effective resolution of issues, performing root cause analysis, and escalating unresolved or complex cases to the appropriate next support level.
Job Description:
- Design, develop and execute test plans, test cases and automation suites.
- Develop and maintain API and UI automation frameworks using Python (preferred), Selenium, Playwright, PyTest or similar tools.
- Perform functional, regression, integration and system testing.
- Identify, report and track defects with clear RCA and validation.
- Collaborate with Dev, Product and DevOps teams for quality releases.
- Use AI tools to optimize test design, execution and coverage.
- Work on cloud environments (AWS, Oracle OCI) for validation.
- Ensure high automation coverage and reduce manual effort.
- Participate in release validation and production sanity testing.
- Continuously improve QA processes and frameworks.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks, including handling concurrent cases, escalations, and project deliverables.
Desired Skills:
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (STLC, Agile, Shift-left testing) and ability to apply them effectively across projects.
- Hands-on experience in test automation design and strategy, including framework development and maintenance for API and UI testing.
- Proficiency in identifying test scenarios, edge cases, and risk-based testing approaches to ensure maximum coverage.
- Experience in test data management, test environment setup, and handling complex test configurations.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build and release workflows.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis (RCA) for defects and work closely with developers to ensure high-quality fixes.
- Familiarity with performance, scalability, and reliability testing concepts.
- Experience working with cloud-based environments (AWS, Oracle OCI) for testing distributed and scalable systems.
- Exposure to AI-driven testing tools for test case generation, optimization, and faster validation cycles.
- Strong focus on test coverage improvement, defect prevention, and quality metrics tracking (e.g., defect leakage, automation coverage).
- Ability to review requirements critically, identify gaps early, and ensure testability of features.
- Experience in cross-browser, cross-platform testing (Windows, Linux, macOS).
- Knowledge of security testing basics, especially relevant to EDR/XDR or enterprise security products.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with Dev, Product, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment.
- Proactive ownership mindset with the ability to drive quality initiatives independently.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present test results, risks, and quality status clearly to stakeholders.
- Continuous learning attitude to stay updated with latest QA tools, automation trends, and best practices.
