QA Engineer II
Skills : Proficient in SQL, Jenkins, and Python (Strong Coding Skills Required), with a deep understanding of performance and scalability challenges in distributed systems, particularly in database management. Experience with microservices architecture is highly preferred.

Job Description :

The candidate will be a key member of the o9 client interfacing test team and will be focused and
contributing to :
1. Provide hands-on technical assistance to enable test automation, improve system
performance, capacity, reliability and scalability.
2. Be able to guide the test team in overall test design and execution.
3. Identify Performance Bottlenecks and develop enhancements.
4. Work closely with the client/architects to gather functional and nonfunctional
requirements from stakeholders, preparing test plan and relevant docs, effort
estimation and developing test scripts for complex applications.
5. Develop new ideas/strategy/approach to continuously improve the process of
automation and performance engineering.

Required Experience and Skills :
➔ A Test Engineer with approximately 2-6 years of hands-on experience in both functional and
non-functional validation. Proficient in creating comprehensive test cases, executing manual
and automated tests, and validating the performance, security, and reliability of systems.
Strong expertise in SQL for querying databases and a solid background in coding, with
proficiency in at least one programming language (such as Java, Python, or C#) to automate
test scenarios and work with development teams to ensure software quality.
➔ Proficient knowledge of Cloud Architecture, with specific expertise in AWS, Azure, and
Google Cloud platforms. Understanding of the unique challenges and best practices for
managing cloud infrastructure, including capacity planning, scaling strategies, and managing
cloud-native services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS). Adept at ensuring high availability,
redundancy, and fault tolerance in cloud environments.
➔ Solid hands-on experience working with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB. Proficient
in performing complex backend data validations, ensuring consistency, reliability, and
accuracy in data storage and retrieval. Skilled in querying large datasets and verifying the
integrity of data across various collections and document types.
➔ Should have used Continuous Integration tools viz. Jenkins(desirable) to schedule automated
execution. Powershell scripting for automated job creation & debugging level knowledge is
desired.
➔ Regression Testing: Run regression tests whenever new features or fixes are deployed to
ensure that existing functionality is not broken.
