Role Description:

As a QA Engineer Intern, you will support the Quality Assurance team in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of reliability and user experience. Under the mentorship of senior QA professionals, you'll learn best practices in test execution, bug reporting, and release validation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in a fast-growing tech environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Execution & Reporting

• Understand product features and execute manual test cases.
• Identify, reproduce, and document bugs with clarity and detail.
• Validate bug fixes across dev/staging environments.

Collaboration & Learning

• Work closely with QA and engineering teams to understand functionality and expected behavior.
• Learn sprint QA activities such as sanity checks, smoke testing, and exploratory testing.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, test case reviews, and QA retrospectives.

Documentation Support

• Assist in maintaining QA artifacts like test cases, checklists, and bug reports.
• Contribute to QA knowledge base by documenting learnings and known issues.

Quality Mindset

• Develop a strong understanding of quality metrics, user empathy, and functional accuracy.
• Be proactive in identifying potential areas of improvement in test coverage.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in software quality, testing, and user experience.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow structured testing processes.
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA concepts.
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar bug tracking/test case management platforms is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
