Overview
Job Summary:
We are looking for a results-driven Software Quality Assurance Lead to be responsible for designing and running tests on software usability. The SQA Lead will build test case, conduct tests, analyze the results, and report observations to the design and development team. You may also interact with external stakeholders in order to understand the requirements of the product.
To be successful as a SQA Lead, you should have a working knowledge of software and test design, the capability to run through tests, and the ability to analyze the results. Ultimately, the SQA Lead should be result-driven, have good communication skills, and up-to-date knowledge of software programming and software test design.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios.
- Analyzing users stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
- Executing tests on software usability.
- Mentor QA team on the proper methods of executing testing.
- Assign tasks to QA team and monitor for timely task completion.
- Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
- Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team.
- Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
- Interacting with clients to understand product requirements.
- Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
- Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle
- Provide support and documentation
Technologies / Skills:
- Translate Business Requirments to test case
- Must have strong working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
- Carry out stress testing, performance testing, functional testing and scalability testing, test in different environments including web and mobile.
- Writing bug reports and assessing code
- Experience in Compliance activities, must have taken part in Audits
