Position: QA (Manual Tester)

Experience Level: 2-3 years

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA (Manual Tester) to join our team. As a QA (Manual Tester) with 2-3 years of experience, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through thorough manual testing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, execute test plans, and identify defects. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of software testing principles.

Responsibilities:

• Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
• Perform functional, regression, and system testing to identify defects and ensure the quality of the software.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand project requirements and user workflows.
• Participate in requirements and design reviews to provide input on potential quality issues and testability.
• Execute manual tests according to test plans and test cases, documenting and reporting defects accurately.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects and usability issues.
• Verify and validate bug fixes and track the status of reported defects.
• Ensure test coverage is sufficient for all functional requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and provide suggestions for resolution.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience working as a QA (Manual Tester) in a software development environment.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and best practices.
• Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Experience in functional, regression, and system testing.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and document software defects effectively.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, is a plus.
• ISTQB or other relevant software testing certifications are a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,596.68 - ₹30,521.31 per month
