QA Manual Tester

Overview

About the Role:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Manual QA Tester to join our quality assurance team. You’ll be responsible for identifying bugs, ensuring product quality, and working closely with developers and product managers to deliver flawless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and test plans
• Execute manual test cases (functional, regression, integration, UI/UX)
• Identify, record, and track bugs using standard bug tracking tools
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Report test progress and quality metrics

Must-Have Skills:

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing
• Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Experience with test case management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or similar
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and attention to detail

Nice-to-Have:

• Basic knowledge of databases and writing SQL queries
• Exposure to automation tools or frameworks (optional)
• Experience testing mobile and web applications
