QA (Manual Tester) Intern

About the Role:
FOXO is looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic QA (Manual Tester) Intern to join our product team. This internship is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience in software testing, quality assurance processes, and real-world product development in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Understand product requirements and functional specifications
• Create and execute manual test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
• Identify, document, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools
• Work closely with developers and product teams to ensure issue resolution
• Re-test fixes and validate enhancements before release
• Maintain proper test documentation and reports
• Participate in daily stand-ups and QA review meetings

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC/STLC
• Familiarity with manual testing techniques and test case writing
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a collaborative office environment

Good to Have:

• Knowledge of bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)
• Basic understanding of web/mobile applications
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology**
