Overview
The Quality Assurance Tester, under general supervision from the Team Lead, will execute and evaluate software tests, architecture, and security for the Landmark Drilling suite of applications.
Knowledge, skills & experience required:
· Bachelor or Master Degree from a recognized university in petroleum, Geophysics, Geology or chemical engineering with minimum GPA 7.5 and above
· Min 2 yrs. of QA experience (Experience with Oil and Gas Upstream applications preferred)
· Good understanding of upstream applications. (Preferred: EDT Applications)
· Knowledge of one or more of the basic wells engineering concepts including:
o Well construction – drilling techniques, well control, fluids property management, drilling mechanics, performance monitoring
o Well completions – completion designs, well performance analysis,
· Experience with engineering applications such as WellCat, Wellplan, Compass will be an advantage.
· Basic understanding of Framework creation using any of the Automation tool.
· Experience with SDLC/STLC processes and complete understanding of various testing types viz Smoke, Functional, Integration, Performance, Regression and User Acceptance Testing etc.
· ISTQB foundation level certified (Optional)
· Well versed with Test Case creation, Defect and Test Management tool (Azure DevOps/TFS, JIRA)
· Comfortable with Agile methodologies
· Excellent Communication Skills
Job Role Responsibilities:
· Provide engineering support in drilling and completions area to DWP team.
· Provide an objective assessment of Product Quality
· Contribute as an active Software Tester on the Team to deliver product stories
· Develop Test Cases based on Test Objectives and Acceptance Criteria
· Write comprehensive Test Cases to verify Product functionality
· Contribute during Sprint Planning to ensure all Testing concerns are discussed and accommodated in the story sizing
· Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify and define key End User Workflows
· Define, create and maintain Test environments
· Validate Functionality according to Requirements/Stories
· Verify Development changes have no undesired effect on other, associated areas of Functionality
· Identify, communicate and document Bugs in a consistent fashion
· Track Bugs through resolution and implementation
· Verify Bugs are resolved according to Bug Definition

Pay: ₹510,932.67 - ₹1,720,942.14 per year
