Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in data projects to lead end-to-end project management initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have deep technical understanding, hands-on experience managing teams of data engineers and developers, and proven expertise in client engagement.

Strong communication skills and the ability to drive projects to completion on time, within scope, and on budget are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, accurately characterize, and document project goals, scope, stakeholders, risks, issues, success measures, effort, and resource estimates.
• Ensure that all required subprojects and activities are identified, planned, and managed effectively.
• Create communication plans and deliver timely project status updates to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project charters, plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Proactively manage projects to ensure delivery in-scope, on-time, and on-budget.
• Lead by example and promote the company culture within the project team.
• Maintain an objective, fact-based perspective on project status, risks, and issues.
• Encourage project teams to transparently report status and risks and recommend solutions proactively.
• Facilitate and manage project change control and ensure alignment with organizational standards.
• Monitor the project lifecycle and enforce checkpoints and phase gates.
• Manage, mentor, and coordinate teams of data engineers and developers to achieve project objectives.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent client handling and stakeholder management throughout the project.
  
  

• 8+ to 15 years of overall IT experience, with strong experience in data-related projects.
• Proven experience in end-to-end project management and delivery.
• Strong technical understanding and knowledge of data technologies, processes, and workflows.
• Demonstrated experience in client engagement and stakeholder management.
• Experience leading and managing teams of data engineers, developers, and technical resources.
• Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
